Commercial Manager - eVAR

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Management Team for a Commercial Manager to manage key accounts within the business, and drive and manage the Key Account team. The candidate will report to the Commercial /Sales Director.  The candidate should have a proven track record in managing customer service teams and also displaying the key attributes of customer account management.  Familiar with buffer stock management and forecasting methodology.

  • Data Analysis and decision making driving increased sales and profit performance.
  • Management of the day to day order loading and customer service activities
  • Providing direction to the customer service team for both customer and supplier facing issues

  • Decision making support on margins based on agreements or through liaison with internal decision makers
  • Responsible for monitoring and movement of aged stock
  • Compiling and presenting customer facing and sales driven performance metrics and providing action plans if necessary
  • External customer support activities as and when necessary

Key Account Manager (SALES) - eVAR 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Customer Services team for a Key Account Manager to manage key accounts within the business. The candidate will report to the Customer Service Manager.
 
Role description:

  • Accurate and timely processing of quotations from customer RFQ’s with effective communication with new and existing customers
  • Negotiate prices to maximise Added Value whilst still having the ability to close the order
  • Checking order details and entering orders on to a computerised system
  • Liaison with production and planning to track order progress to ensure customer expectations are effectively managed
  • Proactively communicate to customers at all levels to keep them informed of an issues to minimise any negative impact on the customers business
  • Customer Account Management, being aware of market sector and data collation to identify forthcoming projects and sales opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Effective communication with the External Sales Manager to enhance those identified opportunities
