UK-based Exception PCB has scored a major coup in the European electronics industry with the appointment of Sylvain Le Roux as NPI technical manager for its fast growing French business.
Joining the existing team of three, Sylvain’s appointment from the Atlantec/ACB organisation, which has interests across Europe, Le Roux previously spent 19 years supporting advanced OEM and blue chip customers with technical consultancy. Prior to this, he spent five years in mainstream PCB manufacture. Sylvain Le Roux’s expertise and knowledge will bring renewed vigour and technical depth to Exception’s strategy for new product innovation (NPI) to advanced technology customers. Specifically, his appointment brings significant cost analysis on multilayer, flex, rigid-flex, HDI and MCML projects; CAD evaluation for reliable design methodology; expertise in providing the recommended solution for material selection including the raw material and construction used and industrial stack up within high reliability and high technology applications. Le Roux’s unrivalled experience also includes work with high speed and RF with support on construction and impedance calculations using the very latest Polar Si 9000 tools. He also has experience of thermal management evaluation and continuous investigation working with strategic partners to provide leading-edge multilayer, flex, rigid-flex, HDI and MCML technologies.
